Braille business card printing: Braille business cards are printed on heavy duty 350/300gsm uncoated stock for maximum tactile feel. The Braille embossing is applied after printing to your specification. This means you can incorporate Braille and printed graphics together. The Braille Business Card option can provide immediate information to people with visual impairments along with leaving a lasting impression on the community at large.

Braille is much larger than regular printed lettering. They will be covered on entire printed card but does not affect on reading printed contents on the card.

 

File preparation for Braille:
Prepare your cmyk colour artwork file as normal and export as a press ready pdf file. Enter the braille name and telephone number for your card in the enquiry form on this page.

 

Please note:

*Braille Embossing can cause small but visible white stress marks on the raised braille side of cards printed with full graphics or solid colours. This is not a defect but a characteristic of physical embossing.

 

Embossed braille is much larger than regular print font.

The average card holds 4 Braille lines containing 14 cells per line

This means, in most cases, braille business cards are limited to:
